Dry needling is an effective and low-risk treatment for myofascial pain syndromes. The procedure involves piercing trigger point areas within a muscle with a thin needle to help “re-boot” the nervous system. Needling may also be used to stimulate healing of tendon areas with poor circulation. Dave Andrews, PT, Travis Barlow, DPT, and Matt Lucas, MSPT at North Idaho Physical Therapy are certified in dry needling and are currently using this modality as part of their regiment to help their patients “Feel Better and Do More!”.
If you have questions about dry needling or would like to schedule with one of our providers contact the Post Falls or Hayden office.
